ClockTools, CT, is a rather simple program that tells you if there are any problems with your clock chip. We suggest that you make ClockTools your Startup Item, (in System 6 do this by clicking on the CT icon, and selecting "Set Startup" from the "Special" menu. System 7 users: drag CT into your "Startup Items" folder inside your System Folder), or launch CT every time you move your computer. ClockTools requires atleast 100k of free RAM, and System Software 1.0 or greater. It should be compatible with all Macintoshes.

This version, 2.2.1, runs about a second faster, (if that means something to you), and doesn't require as much RAM as version 2.2 did. Its pretty much the 'bear' essentials!
What's a Clock chip? The Clock I.C. (Integrated Circuit), inside all Macintoshes, is just a small "chip" that keeps track of the time, and other things. CT just checks to see if anything is wrong, and if there is something is wrong, CT will attempt to fix it.
This version of CT is scrapware. If you use it, please send some tarnished pennies, pocket lint, nose gremlins, spare vaccum parts, and/or... hahaha! Had you going there... Seriously, if you use ClockTools send $3, (that isn't much), to:

If you wish to distribute ClockTools, please write to the address, (or email address), above for permission. Please remember to state the date(s) you plan to distribute on, and the cost of obtaining the software. So far we haven't turned anyone down for distribution rights, so no need to worry.
Other Groups (Magazines, etc):
If you wish to distribute ClockTools commercialy, we require that you notify us atleast two weeks before printing via email, or atleast one month ahead of printing by postal mail. We will discuss a contract for distribution rights.
